SHADOW SERIES:
This series includes 7 paintings with a dark, romantic colour palette and freeing, loose brushstrokes. A continuation of my ‘Ember’ series from earlier this year, these paintings were made during a time of continued state of grief and learning to let go. Shadow refers to the waves of grief that hit us at random times, reminding us all that grief will simply always be along side us, it never fully goes away.
